Nadin Reschke works are based on one comon priniciple: they refer to social questions and use participatory strategies to involve people outside of the artcontext.
Berlin based artist Nadin Reschke engages with social issues, collaborating with people from outside the art world, initiating communication between them and creating a framework for social action. Her practice is collaborative: She works with people, not alone, as a way of producing difference. Acting as a group, whether as a defined, cohesive or loose conglomerat of people always creates a multitude of positions and viewpoints. In the past 10 years she has realized numerous international projects. Although her works incorporate traditional studio media, they are realized in a variety of visual or social forms such as performance, video, social activism, or mobilizing communities towards a common goal.
